Azkals Global Football Academy

The Philippine National Football team together with the Global Smartmatic FC, a local league that plays for the United Football League are now accepting enrollees and will start the summer school this Monday, April 11, 2011. Kick off starts at exactly 3:30 PM at the Corinthian Gardens Football Field.

According to Coach Ricky Chan, one of the Directors of the Azkals-Global Football Academy, they are already  expecting around 80 students of various nationalities to start the summer school.

He also added that key players from the Global Smartmatic FC already committed that they’ll also coach the students and will help with the summer school.

Classes starts on Monday and will end on June 6, 2011. The program costs 3,000 pesos per module with 12 sessions.

About Global FC

Global FC is an association football club based in the Philippines. The team started in Division 2 of the United Football League inaugural season. On that same season, the team managed to finish top of the Second Division with an unbeaten record. A feat similar to Arsenal Gunners ‘Invincibles’, a rare record in the English Premier League. With that, the team was automatically promoted to LBC-United Football League First Division. On, Global won the United Football League Cup after defeating the defending Champions Air Force Rider.
