Smart National: Technica(Global) Trounces Air Force via @soccercentralPH

Providing a teaser for their May 29 match-up for the LBC United Football League, Technica FC defeated Air Force Rider in the Smart National Club Championship NCR Qualifiers last May 20 at the University of Makati Football Stadium.

Three goals came from forward Izzo El-Habbib. His first two goals occured in the first half coming from magnificent passes from his teammates, while the third one was a 45-degree bicycle shot. Meanwhile, a penalty kick from Chieffy Caligdong in the dying minute of the first half gave Air Force their goal.

Technica FC is composed almost entirely of players of the Global Smartmatic FC with the exemption of Misagh Bahadoran, who plays in Pasargad FC for this tournament.

In their overall head-to-head Technica, Global Smartmatic in the United Football League, leads againt Air Force with two wins and a draw. Their first win against the Airmen was during the final of the UFL Cup 3-2.

Come this Sunday, Global will square off against Kaya Cignal while Air Force will face Army in the United Football League.
